Shipping and Freight Forwarding System
Designed and developed a complete digital platform for managing shipping and freight forwarding operations between China and Botswana. The solution consisted of two integrated systems: a customer-facing web portal and an internal operations management system.
The customer portal was developed using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, providing customers with a modern and responsive experience where they can:
View and manage their shipment orders
Track shipment progress in real time
Access order updates and delivery information
Monitor cargo movement from dispatch to arrival
In addition, an internal operations system was developed for office staff using Laravel and Bootstrap. This system streamlined day-to-day logistics operations by enabling staff to:
Manage shipments and customer records
Process incoming and outgoing cargo
Update shipment statuses
Coordinate freight forwarding workflows
Improve operational efficiency and communication
The project focused on improving transparency, operational control, and customer experience within the freight forwarding process.
